Love of dogs, from a young age
Joseph was born on the small Mediterranean island of Mallorca, Spain. His love for animals was sparked as a child while growing up around Dobermans, German Shepherds, and many other exotic pets. The thrill of working a dog in protection for the forst time completely enamored Joseph with canine psychology. During his teenage years, while most kids his age were hanging out with friends, Joseph deeply immersed himself in the world of working dogs. He saved money to travel across Europe to further his education and learn from the world’s best trainers.
Becoming an industry leader
At the young age of 22 Joseph became training director for one of the world’s largest personal & executive protection dog companies. At the age of 24 he owned and operated a police dog company in the Czech Republic. He has successfully trained, delivered and integrated high caliber protection dogs into homes and businesses for over 15 years. Joseph has also trained and provided dogs for military and police K9 units internationally throughout his career.
Turning his attention to pets
In 2013, Joseph founded Advanced Canine Systems with the goal of providing the highest quality dog training possible to the general public and their beloved pets. He merged all of his experience and techniques into a successful training curriculum that has benefited thousands of dogs and owners worldwide. He continues to be an innovator in the industry, setting standards for specialized training, behavior modification, and the development of service dogs & working dogs. With an extensive track record in protection sports, both with his personal dogs & as a coach to other teams, Joseph remains active in international competitions. Due to his success and ability to teach others, he has been called upon to give workshopa & training seminars all over the United States, Central & South America, Asia, and Europe.
A New Chapter: Cinnante Canine
Most recently, in 2023, Joseph started his newest training venture, Cinnante Canine, with the goal of offering an even more refined and personalized training experience for his clients and their dogs. This new endeavor builds upon his decades of expertise, combining innovative and proven techniques with specialized training plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each dog and owner. At Cinnante Canine, Joseph focuses on creating a comprehensive training environment that emphasizes not only the importance of extremely reliable obedience, but also the overall well-being and happiness of the dogs and their owners. Joseph ensures that every client receives the highest level of training and support. Through Cinnante Canine, he continues to set new standards in the industry, providing unparalleled service and results to dog owners worldwide.
